Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities.
OurVaya is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to identify and remediate gaps.
Known Limitations
Game interfaces: The interactive decision game screens (/decision/*) use custom keyboard navigation that may not be fully compatible with all assistive technologies. We are working to improve this.
Embedded media: Some embedded content from third-party providers may not meet accessibility standards. We are evaluating alternatives.
Session recording (Clarity): Microsoft Clarity session recording is disabled on account, credential, and profile pages. It is active on public content pages.
Technical Specifications
OurVaya relies on the following technologies for conformance: HTML5, CSS3 (Tailwind), JavaScript (Next.js React), ARIA attributes. These technologies are relied upon for conformance.
